Tiphaine Legrand

Artistic Director, Tiphaine Legrand

Born in France and having begun her musical studies at the Sorbonne in Paris, Tiphaine Legrand came to Québec in 1998.  She completed a B.A. in singing and choral conducting with Chantal Masson-Bourque at Université Laval, and a second-cycle diploma in choral conducting with Nicole Paiement at the Université de Sherbrooke, where she completed her M.A. with Robert Ingari in May 2009. Mme Legrand conducts both children's choirs and mixed choirs. She founded the ensemble Kô, which became the resident choir at St-Jean-Baptiste Church in Montréal in 2008. This choir presents several concerts each season, especially during the Spirituart Festival.
