Auditions
Chœur des enfants de Montréal is auditioning singers for the 2010-2011 season
- TRAINING CHOIR (5 to 7 years old)
- JUNIOR CHOIR (7 to 10 years old)
- SENIOR CHOIR (10 to 18 years old)
- CHAMBER CHOIR (girls from Senior Choir & boys whose voices have changed)
The choir performs a minimum of three concerts every year and includes theatrical musicals as part of their programs. The choir sings regularly with the OSM.
Along the way, choristers get a solid education in music as part of a group of talented singers whose hard work is winning local and national attention from the press, radio & television.

Audition dates
The next auditions will be held in August - Septebmer 2010. Please contact us by email or by phone for the dates.
Audition requirements for the Senior and Chamber Choirs:
- for the Senior and Chamber Choir - at the audition, each child is asked to sing a song of his/her choice and is given some vocal exercises to determine his/her vocal range.
Audition requirements for the Training and Junior Choirs:
Have a desire to sing and commit to learning the music by heart.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held at the NDG Community Centre, 3757 Prud'homme (on the main floor) between September and June as follows:
- Training Choir - Thursdays, 4:15 - 5:15 p.m.
- Junior Choir - Wednesdays, 4:15 - 5:30 p.m.
- Senior Choir - Wednesdays, 5:45 - 8 p.m.

Training Choir fees (for 2010-2011)
$325 per year includes rehearsals and performances
Junior Choir fees (for 2010-2011)
$325 per year includes rehearsals, sheet music rental and performances.
Senior Choir fees (for 2010-2011)
$400 per year includes rehearsals, sheet music rental, performances and outside Montreal rehearsals.
